La Familia Holiday Show

Gallery member James "Shoes" Walker hosted La Familia's first annual Holiday Concert with guest musicians, jokes, traditional favorites and tantalizing originals.  The concert was as much about saying no to holiday hell as it was to saying yes the fun and cheer.

Taking in a Miller at Arts West

The artist Planet Janet's (also known as Janet Miller) work lives up to her name. The delicate, pale encaustic and mixed-media works create a consistent reality that draws the viewer into themselves and thoughts of homes of the heart.

Currently you can view Janet's work in West Seattle at Arts West. She is part of a rather impressive group show that also includes some pretty fantastic chickens. A nice paring with Janet's birds on a wire.
